REHAU is committed to minimise the impact of our operations on the environment.
uPVC is is the ideal material for recycling. REHAU’s take-back program promotes the sustainable and responsible use of PVC in the construction industry. It is a recycling program that REHAU has voluntarily started, to compliment its ISO 140001 certification. The take-back initiative ensures sustainability at grassroots level in that PVC scrap generated during the manufacture of PVC windows is collected free of charge by REHAU and then recycled into other products used in a variety of industries. The take-back program is an opportunity to partner with customers to do the right thing for communities as it can help to prolong the life of current landfills and reduce the amount of natural resources required to produce virgin products. As owners and contractors look for ways to make homes and businesses more sustainable, vinyl building products that are both recyclable and contain recycled content are becoming increasingly sought after. REHAU uPVC windows combined with the innovative take-back program become the product of choice.
